I recorded this wonderful ten-piece band at the 2005 Bude Jazz Festival. For many years the "Chasers", led by Sean Bolan, have successfully recaptured the magic of the hot dance band music of the 1920s and ‘30s, and it was a thrill for me to be able to capture some of that magic on CD. The band line-up is Sean Bolan cornet, Peter Rudeforth trumpet, Olly Wilby, Nick White & Robert Fowler reeds, Adrian Fry trombone, Raina Reid piano, Martin Wheatley banjo & guitar, Debbie Arthurs percussion.
