In common with several of the band’s earlier CDs this one was recorded live at the Bude Jazz Festival. It’s become almost a tradition that the Bude Festival starts with John’s exciting band at the Falcon Hotel - a great festival opener - and 2005 was no exception. The band line-up is unchanged since their last recording (PKCD-276 “Old & New”) - Peter Wilkinson trumpet, John Maddocks clarinet & alto sax, Tony Farr trombone, Peter Tamplin piano, Keith Dorey banjo & guitar, Stuart Gledhill double bass, Brian Stockley drums.
