NEW CD PRICES
Unfortunately, I am increasing my CD prices with immediate effect. The increase is due entirely to rapidly rising postal costs, which have far outstripped inflation in recent years. This modest price rise is the first ever for P.E.K. Sound and the new price of £11.75 for UK customers is just 15p more than it was in 1995! - How's that for price stability?

The new prices are:-
For UK addresses:- £11.75 per single CD; £15.35 for double CDs.
For Europe please add £0.50 per single or double CD.
For the rest of the world please add £1.00 per single or double CD.

WEBSITE
It's taken almost six months but, at last, my website is now functioning normally. The fault lay with the company who hosted the website; i.e. the place where the website resided, not with Tony Denton (IT expert and excellent jazz sax player) who has looked after the running of the website for me. Tony has now moved the website to another host and hopefully we'll have no more difficulties. If you are thinking of buying a CD by a band you don't know why not go to the website and listen to some of the many soundclips available there. Why not have a listen anyway; you could well find some hidden gems! (www.jazz-at-peksound.co.uk)

OVERSEAS CD PRICES
I apologise to my overseas customers for the fairly steep increase in prices. Several years ago when I introduced free postage for everyone I had in mind that the strength of the Pound Sterling, at that time, made UK CDs rather expensive. So I carried the cost of overseas postage (which is considerable). Now the Pound is so much weaker I feel that even at the new prices my overseas customers get a pretty good deal. I hope you will agree.

LOOKING AHEAD
By the time you read this I will have recorded the John Maddocks Jazzmen, Brian Carrick's Algiers Stompers and the Millennium Eagle Jazz Band. I plan to release their CDs later this year, along with the new CD by The Dave Donohoe Band with Lucien Barbarin (recorded at Keswick last year). In the next couple of months I hope to record the Wessex Jazz Band - with John Minnion and Norman Thatcher. Sadly a couple of other provisionally booked recordings have had to be cancelled or postponed.

KESWICK FESTIVAL
From Thursday May 13th to Sunday 16th Keswick will echo to the sounds of some of the best Traditional and New Orleans-style bands. The Festival line-up looks particularly good this year and I hope to record several bands - too soon to say which bands - though there are quite a few which I have my eye on!
